Creative Intelligence      Creative Collaboration

Our Story

Buchanan Christie is a contemporary creative studio centred around creative intelligence and collaboration in response to the questions of our time. Committed to reimagining The Arts as a tool for cultural dialogue, empathy, and social equity and they are particularly interested in cross sector developments. They pay particular interest to technology and the intersection of Art and Tech to offer new perspectives to AI design and adoption focussing on developing a humanist empathy methodology for a wide range of applications from Healthcare to Social Justice, Politics to Communications.

The studio, shaped by Jeni Weinberger, serves as a collaborative platform that expands the understanding of human connection beyond traditional boundaries. Working at the intersection of art, technology, and interdisciplinary research, Buchanan Christie develops projects that challenge hierarchies of visibility, authorship, and power, placing human presence at the heart of every enquiry. Their interest is in human connection and human impact.

As Creative Director, Jeni Weinberger shapes the conceptual and curatorial direction of the studio, building cross-sector partnerships and developing public-facing projects that invite broader audiences into conversation. With 30 years 'on the ground' Art Market experience, working with artists, clients and institutions she now focuses on her specialist interest in the interaction of AI, Technology and the Arts for Social Impact, Jeni is a writer, researcher, consultant, finding solutions and new perspectives using her unique advantage of business experience, Art Market knowledge and research interests.

As a Fine Artist, Paul Wright leads the studio’s visual language, drawing on his expressive, emotionally charged painting and sculptural practice to explore the complexities of identity and representation in contemporary life. Paul actively encourages collaboration with other artists and by introducing artists that could collaborate with each other.

Together Paul and Jeni, work directly with various universities researching the application of AI within this field.

Julia Gabbay and Eleanor Wardle each bring a unique blend, perfect to the intentions of the studio. They share the same values and have both run their own businesses in the Art industry. Julia and Eleanor lead the Activation Studio - making the magic happen for clients intent on social impact for good. Julia in research and sales and Eleanor with brand collaboration and Site Production.

Together, they are committed to the belief that the Arts and Humanities can, and must, play a vital role in shaping a more equitable future. Through collaboration with academic institutions, cultural partners, and fellow creatives across disciplines, Buchanan Christie creates space for work that is not only seen, but also felt, questioned, and shared. It is a studio grounded in the idea that culture belongs to everyone, and the individual, when reimagined, can be a site of both reflection and transformation.
